Tire Size
I have a 2008 Silverado Crew Cab 4X4 with 275/60R20 tires. I am considering putting on a readylift leveling kit and 3" rear lift kit. Anyone know if General Grabber AT2 305/50 R20 tires will fit after the level and lift are installed? I believe the Generals are 32" diameter. Will the width be a problem?
They are going to be close. I have 285/75R16 on my stock suspension truck, and they just barely fit as far as width. There is a stud that sticks out of the frame up front that almost rubs when the wheel is turned to lock. The tires you are talking about are 0.8 inches smaller in diameter, but they are 0.8 inches wider...
Do your wheels match the factory offset and backspacing? If so, I would think those tires will fit, especially after the leveling kit. If you have that stud in the frame rail you may have to grind it down a little. I was going to grind mine down, but it has never rubbed so I dont worry about it anymore.
If you get the tires and they don't fit it would be a good excuse to get a taller lift
