Your probabally going to have to bust out the 'ole measuring tape. There are a number of factors to figure in including the offset of the rims. That will determine how wide the tires can be. I will tell you this though..... Chevy transmissions don't like big heavy tires. You need to measure the clearance that you have in the fenderwells. The second number in the tire size indicates the height of it. Ex. 285 (width) 75 (height) -17 (rim diameter) When your measuring, make sure to take a measurement with the tires turned to the left,and the right.
