the Extang black max looks really nice and seems to get good reviews for a "cheap" tonneau. i think its like $215 @ autoanything.com. its a roll up with snaps. dont really know much about tonneaus though.

I have an Access roll-up cover. It is better than the snap-on and the hard cover. I had both on other trucks. There is velcro on the edges and it holds firmly with no problems. It is so easy to use. Don't believe critics of velcro.
