torsion bars

Iwant to level the front of my 2000 Z71 without spending an arm and a leg.
Torsion bar keys look like the best way to go any pros or cons about this type of lift and how does it affect the factory ride

RE: torsion bars

Very rough ride. I had mine stiffined up, and it nearly beat me to death. I had it readjusted as close as I could to factory settings. I dont like the way it rides, and if you do very heavy offroading I believe you could break your shocks/struts from too hard of an impact and your shocks dont give any, and break off. Other people seem to like it, but I didnt.

did you just crank up the stock ones or did you replace with leveling ones? The leveling ones are supposed to give stock ride and better height.

I jacked up my stock ones on my 93' and I agree, it rode like ****. Also wore out bearing constantly. I do believe the replacement keys will help alot.
