Torsion bars

Im thinking of leveling the front of my truck using the torsion bars. I was wondering if this is a smart thing to do or should i just leave that alone? I am going to try and fit a little bigger tires under it so i wanted to do that so they wouldnt rub. Im am thinking of going taller and a touch wider. Thnaks!

no more than two or three turns and you should be fine... don't crank them all the way up or you'll have issues with alignment and front end wear

I would get an alignment anytime the torsion bars are adjusted.
I just did an alignment and tire rotation. I was toed in a little. My highway mileage went from high 16's to mid 19's. Unforunately I may have ruined a $300 tire.

Ya I will get it aligned when i get it dont. Actually the company that is doing it for me lifts the bars while the truck is on the alignment rack.

Thanks for the advise it helped me make the disession to have it done.
