Default Traction bar placement?

I have a project with a 95 Silverado 2 door, short bed, 4x4. I moved the spring and shock mounts forward and shortened the drive line. Can I install aftermarket traction bars as it is, or do they have to be mounted in a specific place, and need to be shortened?

Shortening your drive train should be an issue mounting traction bars.

I like how you have it mounted to the rear. I am going to do that. But since I shortened the wheel base, how long should the bars be? I have been watching a few videos, where they have a universal kit. It leads me to believe that the length doesn't matter. Is that correct?

That is correct, the purpose for the traction bars are to prevent your axle from moving forward on your truck during pulls and to prevent your axle from rolling forward also.
