Every thread i read about this problem in the vehicle is a 2500 or 3500. I have a 2003 silverado 1500, 5.3L. I noticed fluid seaping from the seam of the 2 halfs, i broke the bolts loose and retorqued to 30ftlbs. The leaking stopped the leak but i noticed a pin hole in the case dripping fluid, would this be the same problem but on a 1500?

 

Mine is a 1500, my tc did suffer some internal damage from running low on fluid. It has started slipping out gear if I put it in 2 hi. But the JB Weld fix is still holding.
