do any of yall know what i have to do to make a 93 4l60e tranny work in my 92 chevy truck? my 93 chevy was totaled it had a 4.3 v6 and 4l60e tranny the tranny worked great even after the accident. I bought a 92 chevy truck that was set up for a 350. I changed out the engine wiring harness and the truck starts and runs but the tranny starts out in like 2nd or 3rd and doesnt actually shift the only other ting i can think to do is change out the wiring harness in the dash, do you think this would solve my problem ?

 

I think the 92 trans has a shift cable that runs to the throttle body and the 93 trans is all electrical.... Hope it helps... good luck
