Trip meter and 4x4 indicator

Trip meter and 4x4 indicator
1989 K1500. Trip meter won't reset. Odometer working but trip meter doesn't increase (or reset). How difficult to remove cluster and repair?
Also, 4x4 indicator lights up front wheels and transfer case when in 4H or 4L. When does the lower portion (back wheels) light up? (pic attached)
