Truck hesitating, no response , sometimes...
 

ALright... basically my truck is hesitating to move. as if i have no throttle response. some people think it is my tranny, others think timing. my timing is off a bit but no check engine. it is weird. We thought the transmission was slipping at first. but then i drove the truck to see if i RPM was going up while the truck wsas going no where. that did not happen. in fact the truck was fine. the truck was fine for a couple rides. and now again it is hesitating. i can mash on the gas and the motor will work but the truck wont go anywhere. the rpm's dont jump, just gradually go up, slowly.... what do you guys think it could be? no mods, just an intake, short ram air intake... i figure, if the tranny was blown, it wouldnt randomly work again, so i was only able to eliminate the transmission being blown. the reason my timing is off is because i had to take out the distributor assembly in order to change the intake manifold gasket, first the timing was +47 i think now it is +13...

do you hear anything rattleing under your truck while your rpms are up between shifts?
