truck shuddering after i put on aftermarket wheels????

Default truck shuddering after i put on aftermarket wheels????

I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado and i just put on some 2 Crave 22s with Cooper tires...they look great but everytime i hit the brakes the truck shudders....anybody had this problem or have suggestions as to what the cause could be??? any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

Sounds crazy, but make sure thay are torqued right. Also if your brakes where on the edge of needing service putting those big heavy wheels will make it more pronounced. You have a lot of unsprung weight there. I put 22's on my tahoe and the wheels and tires were almost twice as heavy as the factories.

Have them "road force balanced" if that does not work then replace.

Check your brakes and have the tires and rims rebalanced. I am betting on the brakes though. And maybe the rotors are warped.
