Default Performance Chips??

Hey im new to the forum and i was wondering what performance chips works best for my 6.0 silverado. Im really looking for more MPG rather than HP but the added HP would be awesome as well. Thanks

Custom tune like a Nelson or Wheatly or a handheld like the predator.

i emailed Nelson alot of questions and they were very helpful. im leaning towards getting a tuned pcm from them when i get some extra money. im only doing 87 octane so my gains wont be as high, but the girl i was talking to said about 18-20hp to the wheels with 87, but the main thing was reducing TM to help out the feel of the truck.

also she said about 1-3mpg increase depending on driving.

Not to knock wheatley because that is the tune i have now for now. But if your leaning to get a custom tune then i would go with nelsons. If i was to do it over again thats what i would do.

Just wanted to chime in with my Experience, I got a custom tuned PCM from WAIT4ME and have been very happy. Jesse is a EFI LIVE expert and was easy to get in touch with and very responsive. My truck is a 2002 Z71 with 5.3 liter.I had one problem with the first PCM, it would drop the signal to my engine temp gauge after it got warm and it would read 160 degrees like when stone cold, but Jesse replaced it right away and that one has been fine since. I haven't had it in long enough to honestly evaluate the MPG improvement,BUT it drives much better. It cost me $159 and I kept my original for backup. I will update when I get more info.

Then honestly I would rule WAIT4ME as the better of the tunes then. If I knew I could have gotten a PCM tune and keep my original PCM, then I probably would have gone that route. But I am still satisfied with the product and support form Diablosport tho.
