It's gonna cost you more to go turbo than it will supercharged cause there are more components and complicated parts to it.

They both have there pro's and con's the supercharger gives you power at any RPM, when the turbo gives you power at higher RPM's and takes time to spool up. The turbo is free power but the supercharger is belt driven so it takes HP to make HP

Dude turbo all the way.. sts turbos kits are affordable and turbos give the most power

What do you consider affordable? I see those kits for 4-8k+. That doesn't sound afforable. Might as well get a charger for that price.

sounds like most people are leaning towards the turbo on this one...
however for the money that is needed to get these friggen things. i would just go with either a larger crate engine, or some major overhaulin. my buddy just bought a 5000 motor out of the states. it was a 350 with the crazyiest amount of power he has ever seen, including installation! why wouldnt you go for the upgrade that way instead of the turbo or supercharger!
not to mention all the machine work you could do to your truck for 5000- 8000 bucks!
screw the turbo... when you've maxed out your engine... then throw it on!

Turbos are the only way to go. go get a couple turbo's from a turbo coupe T-bird and make your own kit. I'm playing around with twin turbo's on my mustang. you know now days you can mount the turbos way in therear of the carand there is no need for an intercooler, they say there is no lag either. superchargers are cool but nothing sounds like a turbo.
