I have an 03 GMC sierra 1500. I had the LED conversion bulbs in the front only and to make them work or blink at the correct rate you need to put a resistor in, well the resistors had a melt down about a year and a half after i installed them.

My first question is does any one know where i can get a solid state flasher unit for my truck? I was told that it doesn't have just a standard flasher it has light control module.

Second, now that i removed the resistors and the LED's i now have a problem with the left turn signal only. The left marker works but there is no flasher or four way on the left side.I think it is the "light control module" but I'm not sure.

it may well be the module...better get this thing checked with a scanner
