Volant CAI with Jet MAF
 

I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab Z71 with the 5.3 V8. I am looking at putting in a Volant CAI along with a Jet MAF. Is this a good combination or would aGranatelli work better with the volant? Also is there any extra modifications needed to make the CAI and MAF work together? I have heard that some CAI make the silverado consol flash that there is an emissions problem. Is this true?

Unless you have a major cam, a supercharger or turbo, or a built motor an aftermarket MAF is useless.

Volant is one of the best CAI

Will the volant CAI cause any problems with my emissions? A friend of mine just bought a K&N 77 series and his silverado kept saying he had an emissions problem.
