Default Vortec 454 Intake Gaskets

Just taking a break from tackling an intake gasket job on my 98 GMC 2500. So far it is going as smooth as I can expect. The EGR tube that goes from the upper intake to the exhaust manifold was a little bit of a bear, but some PB Blaster and jack handle for leverage and it came free. Definitely going to put some antiseize on that one just in case it needs to come back apart for something.
I am also replacing all the injectors, fuel pressure regulator, cap, rotor, wires, and plugs just because everything but the plugs are much easier to get to with the upper intake off. The truck should be good to go for a while or at least I hope so...this wasn't a cheap or easy job!!!!
If anyone needs information on this job, let me know while it's fresh in my head.

I got it done with the exception of the stupid little bypass hose. I had to cut it off so I will pick one up in the morning. I went ahead and started it and it fired right up and idled really smooth! I can't wait for the test ride tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Thanks vettedude!

I think it was a success. I test drove it today after installing the bypass hose and it ran great. Throttle response feels a little crisper and after the long test drive I let it sit for a few minutes topped off the coolant and then restarted it and it didn't have the typical hot start delay (it used to turn over for a couple seconds before it started). Hopefully I cured a few issue's with a single job!
