Went offroading and did work to both trucks today

Well today i got talked into going offroading and she handled WAYYY better than i thought she would. never got stuck once and i cant say the same about my freinds 5.9 dodge.

Unfortunately i got some long scratches from twigs and crap but i bought that Nu-finish scratch remover that Dragon told me about im going to see how it works tomorrow.

Now to the work i did on my truck i bought some throttle body cleaner and WOW....i sprayed it in there and wiped once and my white rag turned black. i needed about 2 rags then i sprayed more in there and watched black liquid pour out of my throttle body then kept wiping until it was clean and i did the same to my dads 98 sierra 5.7

and then i added lucas transmisson stuff to his truck because it liked to shift hard from 1st to 2nd after it heated up after a long drive but stopped if we let it sit for 5 minutes but it would start again 10 minutes later..hopefully it works

Can't go wrong with Lucas products. Down the road you migjt invest in Amsoil synthetics for front and rear hubs and tranny as well. It's a bit pricey but worth it.

i looked for that stuff but could not find it

and when it comes to me and my dads truck i dont go cheap and im very meticulous.

I believe if you treat a truck right and put quality oils lubes and additives to it it will last you as long as you take care of it properly
