What is the 2007 Chevy Silverado 20" rims backspacing?
Does any one know the backspacing on 2007 Chevy Silverado 20" factory rims. I was wanting to put on new rims an I was trying to get close to the factory backspacing with them.
It is the distance from the rear of the rim to the mounting surface. If you take your wheel off and lay it face up and drop a ruler through the center hole to the ground and measure should get you pretty close
The proper offset or backspacing for a new gm is +30mm for 07 and 08, for 88 to 2006 and 2007 classic it is +18mm, wheels 07 and 08 will sit under the wells of older style and Older +18mm wheels will stick out slightly on new model trucks
