Default what long pipe should i get

i have a 2005 z71 sierra 4+4 crew cab 5.3 i research only confused me with all the different designs. i know i want long pipes but how long and how hard is it to get them in. i want the ones that will last the longest and will increase the performance the most
could anyone who has done any of these headers or any other ones i forgot, say how much gain you saw

Hooker and Headman do not offer long tubes for that application and flowmaster does not make headers

and they also are 1 3/4 tube which would be complete overkill unless your engine has some serious mods done

There are a ton of long tubes for our trucks! Go on www.summitracing.com and search for headers, then specify your truck exactly. There are plenty on there and they only list like half of the companies that make them for our trucks. I believe Edelbrock, JBA, Doug Thorley, Pacesetter, Hooker, and Stan's all make long tubes that will fit our trucks. A lot of people have recommended the tri-y headers and there are a few people on here who have recommended the tri-y's from Stan's. Here is the link to their site http://www.stans-headers.com/tri_y.htm

Your wrong, there may be some but not tons. Edelbrock, Hooker, JBA, and Doug Thorley do not have long tubes and as far as Summits make and model search, just because it brings up 2422 parts for your application does not mean it is actually for it. You must not be familar with how a make and model program works. Its not the same as being at local AutoZone.

For the longest lasting it really depends on where you live, and the coating, not the brand necessarily. If you get ceramic coating you cannot go wrong. They last well in salt environments which are very corrosive.

I wish I knew someone who had them tho. I heard horror stories about them rusting from the inside out.
