I used to be friends with a guy who has a '72 Roadrunner with a 440. He ended up going with a detroit locker in the rear and said he loved it. I've only ridden with him once but I know with the detroit locker and the meaty back tires he had, he had no problems pulling some G's going forward!

I`ve had both Detroit lockers and Eaton Limited slips. The Detroits are truly bullit proof, but roading can be an issue when sharp cornering with a load or slick roads. The Eaton limiteds are extremely smooth roading, butless agressive for lock up...there are pros and cons for either as far as I`m concerned. It really depends on what your objective is.

Eaton has a locker thats supposed to be quiet and won't bind as much as other lockers on turns, but can you say Ka-ching!

you could always get a selectable locker, so you could unlock it for normal driving, thn lock it for off road or the strip.
