What should I do with my truck?
look in to first time home buyers breaks from the Government. they are just itching to give you money for free. the only down side is that it takes about 2 months to process everything. It is worth looking in to.
That isn't a bad idea either popo. I'm due out of the house I'm in now (I'm renting it) by March. So I could set it up after the holidays and start looking. Oh and I have some interesting news. I did my homework between the GMC and the Tundra. Shared my ideas with anyone who would listen. I have my buddies and alot of people at work battling it out over the two. I started a war I think!
I don't know if these links will work so I'll post the entire thing on a New Post if i can.
If you crunch the numbers, there is roughly a $4,000 difference between the Toyota ($37+) and the GMC ($33+). Power roughly 367hp - GMC versus 381hp Toyota They are close in weight but the Tundra has a faster quarter mile time. They have the same options but with the GMC I get a few more (check out the link). So now it comes down to the price. Is the 4K worth it? Toyota holds value longer/better but GM is on the rise, especially with a 6.0. Other than that its reputation. Similar power, gas mileage and options. GM will give me a better trade I'm sure. Whats your thoughts?

buy the house and with a little left over money make your truck look nicer. I put 20 inch rims and mud tires chrome accents and a leveling kit on mine for about 5,000 makes it look like a completely differant vehicle
I vote GM. Look at it this way, if you use the $4k you saved buying the GM instead of the Tundra for performance parts you would totally blow away any Tundra any day of the week. With $4000 worth of performance upgrades you would surely gain waayyyyyyy more than 14 measley HP. Plus GM has a better rep and is an American company. Also, the new Tundras are nice trucks but way overpriced. For that much money I would go ahead and spring for a diesel that would last twice as long and deliver twice the power.
