Hello, I have a stock 08 Duramax and he wears LT265 70 R17 shoes.
There is not a whole lot of room in the wheel well, but I am going up towards montana and want to have an option of chains or cables. Will also tow a trailer because we are moving.

My owners manual which came with this used truck does not even say anything about tires. Nada, Zero- zit- nothing…

I had before an 06 duramax which was unfortunately killed january this year. I tried on him once chains but ( me blonde) I could not even tighten them I rolled back an foot and they got hung up in the break line, had him towed to chevy and they replaced the brake line. This new to me truck I looked in owners manual and it does not say anything…. So, anybody any experience, any ideas?

I need either chains or cables which will last, so I think a snow sock might not be enough for him, a snow sock won't last too long…

I bought mine from 265-70R-17LT Tire Chains I prefer a diamond tread because I run fierce attitudes but square work well as well
