Whats everyones thoughts on this hood?
 

I am looking at buying this hood for my truck, depending on how much money I gotta put down towards my gf's trip to hawaii, depends on when I will buy it. what do you guys think itll look like on my truck. 1st pic is the hood, second pic is my truck.....

yup, that hood is fully functionable with the ram air scoop linked to the intake box.

and i know i said intake box, K&N on the NBS come with a whole box, not just the little heat shield.

haha, yeah it is. and i can get it painted for about 125/150. i think it will look bad ass, so, we will see once i get the money for it.

i like that its functional...i dont know about paying that much for a hood, but that's your call not mine ... its definitely a good looking hood

yeah, i hoping it comes down inprice, more of the range of the hoods for the 99-06 body style, like 5 something, thats another reason ive been putting it off

I got my scoop hood for 290 from ebay and so far it looks good. Havent ben able tobolt it on yet cuz I am still workin on my fenders. Check out tri-pro automotive's distrubitors on ebay. Thats were my hood came from and they have various others for good prices.

If you put it off for another year or so I'm sure it'll come down quite a bit. I like it though. I think if I ever look into doing a hood on my truck I'd prefer the classic cowel induction hood. I don't like the rounded cowel induction hoods like you see on most of the newer trucks, I like the classic style like you see on the old Chevelles, Vettes, Camaros, etc.:D

yeah, REFLEXXIONS just came out with a new steel cowl induction for my truck and it is as ugly as ass. But i dont know. I would like it soon, well see though
