Why won't it start?
I have a 97 silverado with a 4.3L. I was driving the other day when it just lost power. No sputtering, it just died. My distributer cap was loose and pretty worn, so I replaced that. I have spark, but still not starting. It's been suggested my fuel pump is bad, and in fact it does sound like the pump is laboring harder than usual, however when I pour a little bit of gas down the throttle body, it STILL won't start. The best I can get out of it is a little sputter. Can anyone help? And, yes, I have double checked the spark plug wires, and they are correct.

Plugs? Fuel pressure?
