Will a exhaust from a 2500 gas fit my 5.3
 

I have a 1999 Silverado (new body style) and after the first of the year my stepdad is getting a new exhaust system because it's too loud for him my question is will the exhaust system from his 2006 gmc seirra 2500 with the 6.0 (same body style ) fit my truck without too much trouble ?
