Window motors?

I've replaced my passenger side window motor twice, driver side once, and the passenger side justwent again. Does anybody know if there's some replacement that doesn't break, or is it just the f'edup designChevy came up with?

My other complaint about the windows is the power. Any time it's below freezing, my windowsget frozen shut and there isn't enough power in the windows to break free. It's really annoying when I want to crack the window for a smoke.

Any suggestions?

RE: Window motors?

This past summer, my wife had her passengers side window motor replaced. We bought it @ Advanced Auto for like $90.00 for everything with a lifetime warranty ('02 Avalanche)No problems with that so far, andi believe it was theoriginal unit, but not 100% sure. Garage did the install. Take it as a hint, Quit smokin' :=)

Lifetime warranty sounds good. And yes, I am quitting. I am 26 now, and started smoking when I was 24. 24, who does that? I guess I just needed a vice... In addition to alcohol lol.
