window off track
My father-in-law and I took my door pannel apart last night to fix my exterior door handle linkage. After I got it back together and drove around some I tried to roll my window up and noticed that the window is not going up correctly. You can push it over and it will pop into place and when you hit the button again it just pops back out. If you hold it over in place while you roll it up it will work but as soon as you try it without holding it over in place it gets in a bind again. how the heck do i fix this!? ist obviously not staying on the track but I dont know why it is doing this or how to make it stop.

RE: window off track
Hait to say it but you will have to take the door panel off again and see what is not working right. If I had to guess it has probably hopped off of one side of the sizzor lift in the door. But take it apart and see what is up!

RE: window off track
how is the window attached to the scissor lift?

RE: window off track
I think it just feeds into a track at the bottom of the window. Think of it like a track on a newer cabinet drawer. The rollers feed into the track at the bottom.
