Windshield washer fluid pumps
 

Hi all. I think that both of the washer fluid pumps on my 96 Silverado are shot. Usually I can hear the pumps running, but now I hear nothing when I use them and no fluid comes out. I've been told that these are not too difficult to replace. I figure that if they are already not working why not give it a shot? I picked up a Haynes manual but I did not see anything regarding the replacement of the pumps. Any ideas on where I could find instructions on this, or if it's even a good idea for a novice to make an attempt to fix?

Strogg replacing the pumps shouldn't be too tough. But seriously I would start with simple things like getting a test light and seeing if there is power to the pumps, or even simpler seeing if the fuse is burned out.
