a couple questions here:
1. Does anybody know the color of the wires running to the cargo bed lights on the back of the cab, and whether they run through the headliner or down the C post?

2. Does anybody know the color of the wires to the door lock actuators?

3. Has anyone installed a power lock in the tailgate of an 05'. I have the actuators, just need to see how they actually lock the handle. I could buy a kit for $60, but I can do it myself for $5.

As ya'll can see I have new stuff to install, and will post pics.

Thats good now i can do more to my truck. Man its good to have someone to to the hard work and then post pics and then i can do it.:D

I have the power lock kit with instructions but yet to install it.For question #2Instructions say to connect the power lock to the Tan and Gray wires. Also I could scan the instructions and send you a copythat might help you with question #3

That would be great, thanks. Hey can you post a pic of the thing as well? I am going to have to make my own bracket so I need to see what it looks like.

Why do you want to put electric locks on your tailgate Smoke ...getting a cover?

No, it appears that stealing tailgates has become really popular, and ours come off really easy. So I figure $5 to add a lock that works with my door locks is a good safety feature. I am also putting electric locks on my toolbox.

According to my boss who spends alot of time on a titan site, it has become real common, and the guys on there say all their friends with siverados are getting them stolen on a regular basis since there is no lock. They are stealing them from titans as well if they are not locked, so we put an electric lock on his already.
