Wondering what a decent price for this truck would be.

I'm looking at a 1994 Chev Silverado K1500 4x4 Z71, I'm not sure which engine it has in it. It has 2 sets of rims and tires, one set is winter with aftermarket rims and the other set is just standard with stock rims. It's an extended cab. It has 187,000 KMs on it, has a rebuilt transmission, new water pump, new alternator, new battery, viper command start, an alpine stereo and it has no rust whatsoever, a tow package and a integrated trailer brake. The owner wants 7500$ for it, but I'm wondering how much it's really worth. I live in British Columbia, I'm 15 and searching for a first truck.

Just wondering what you guys think, thanks.

You would be a fool to pay $7500 for a truck that is 17 years old. You can get a truck that is a 2000-newer for LESS than $7500. You need to tell that guy to get off of the airplane glue. The owner has put aftermarket rims on it and other aftermarket goodies. That should make it obvious that he is a younger person and has probabally dogged the hell out of it. If the truck is in nice shape with a functioning a/c, I would say pay $3500 for it, TOPS. Hell, I only paid $1500 for my 98 z71 with 102,000 original miles with a new paintjob on it.

See; the frustrating part is that the majority of the local trucks from that era that are selling are in mostly worse condition, bad paint/problems, etc, etc... Yet none of them seem to be going for under 4k, which is why this one has my eye.

Yeah. Way too much money... I'm not sure why they are so expensive up there, but that guy is crazy

Too much bud. Keep lookin, you will find something better. Are you lookin specifically for a 4x4 or 2wd?

DEFINITELY 4x4. Where we live, it's just A LOT more convenient, we have snow and ice on the ground the majority of the year, 4x4 is just a really nice thing to have. Of course my mom drives a 2010 Camaro V6 with a 6 speed manual transmission with winter tires and manages, but I would personally like to have 4x4 while I'm starting out.
