but what about the 350 computer on a 305 would that work or will i blow the thing up?

 

NO DIFFERENCE WITH THOSE TWO COMPUTERS....I SWAPPED A 350 IN A V6 TRUCK AND IT RAN FINE WITH THE V6 COMPUTER...

 

It should work, but youwould benefit performance wise by getting a custom tune.

 

actually the V6 computer is WAY holding back a 350 swap if that is what you did. i have done that, and it doesnt give the 350 enough fuel, and gives it ALOT of lag, i guearantee once you switch to a V8 computer in it, it will be a night and day difference. it was for me mon mine anyways.
