Me and my dad are wanting to start on a new project. We both want to do on old ford truck but here is the catch he wants a rat rod and i want to go simple and original 53 f100. What would u guys do.

 

I think it depends on the truck you are starting with and what the budget is. With a rat you are get away with a lot less expense than restoring one back to original. Both can be cool though.

 

I've given into my dad we have decided on a rat rod. We are going to use a eairly to mid 50's f100 and we both are big cummins fans so we are going to drop a 12 valve 5.9l cummins in it. We are not going to go extreame and channel it or chop the top. We will probably air bag it though and put stacks straight out of the turbos then out the side of the frount quarters and straight up
