03 Dakota, whats my problem?

03 Dakota, v6, manual, 105k mi.

Everyone says "MORE POWER", but i need more "get-up". It seems like I'm flooring the gas peddle a lot, even in 3rd gear. When im on the highway, its peddle to the medal 90% of the time? Whats the problem?

You need a v8........that is a fair bit of weight for a v6......and its got a few miles on it
