just bought a 87 Dakota with the 4x4 3.9 V6. truck won't start. starter clicks. truck occasionally will turn over but not start. list of parts replaced so far.

Fuel Filter
Ignition Coil
Ignition Switch
ANY IDEAS WILL HELP ME. just tryin to get my dream truck started so i can move out my parents house.

 

up date tried other batteries as well so i'm thinkin its the starter.

 

yeah your starters fried or the power cable is gone bad

 

replace the starter
