95 dodge dakota
I have a 95 dodge dakota when its idling and have hood open i can hear air building up then it stops then check engine light comes on does any one know what that is? thanks

Could be an idle air control valve, that's the device that controls fuel-injected vehicles like your 95 dodge dakota to regulate the idle speed of your engine. Before anything, I would go down to autozone and have them pull the codes for you. This will help point you in the right direction.
As I have found with my Honda, A lot of times a gunked up throttle body can cause erratic running and throw false codes, so I would start by cleaning everything up |
