Check engine faq?
I have a '98 dodge dakota slt, ('99 but purchesed in '98). I the morning, when it has been moist the night before and/or inthe morning, the engine sputters like there is moisture in the lines or something, and the worst is when you accelerate more than gradually it lurches violantly like someone is shaking it; and then the check engine light blinks and turns off a minute later.
my question is, today it lurches a little and it was raining all night, the check engiene light went on blinking then off and then on steady.... could it be the same moisture problems or something more serious? |
RE: Check engine faq?
i have a 98' dakota as well with the v-8 magnum i had the same problem as well then i tore the motor and gas lines down finding moisture i cleaned them thuroughly and the problem rarely occurs now but i am guessing you have the same problem
