Engine swap in 1989?
 

I have a nice 1989 Dakota which is nice looking and everything is in great working order except for the engine. I've checked all the junk yards around for an exact replacement, but no luck. I happen to have a chevy 305 engine and 200r4 trans laying around. Im wondering how crazy it would be to stick this thing in the Dakota in place of the original 4 cylinder. Can it be done? Does anyone make motor mounts, exhaust manifolds, etc.. What about beefing up suspension?Any help or sudgestions on who to talk too about this would be appreciated. I sure hate to through away agood truck just because the engine went out.
