Engine Swap 3.9 magnum to the 4.7

I have a 1999 dodge dakota. its the smallest version. I have been havin some engine trouble when the oil pressure dropped to zero last week. Had the oil pan and pump cleaned out and it cost me 400 dollars. I have a friend that owns a shop and he has a 4.7 liter with a transmission and transfer case thats never been in a vehicle. He wants 1000 for it. Im guessing i wont be able to drop the 4.7 in and start driving. Has anyone done this before that can tell me if i will need to replace parts like the computer, driveshaft, anything that i will need to get it running.

I've got a 06 dakota with the 4.7 and i'm wanting to do the same with it except swap it for a 5.7 HEMI and yes you will have to change the computer to the 4.7 computer. as for the driveshaft idk cuz the 3.9 is pushing 175 hp and 220 lb/ft of torque, my stock 4.7 was pushing 286 hp and almost 310 lb/ft so idk about whether or not you would have to replace the driveshaft. also when you replace it you might have to modify the motor mounts bc they are differing mounts. good luck on it though that will be a helluva upgrade. but if you are wanting to modify the engine internals such as a cam good luck finding them cuz i've tried all the big perf dealers and the 4.7 is a sohc unlike the 3.9, 5.7 and 5.9 which all have the single cam in the middle of the block. but if you do it let me know how it goes hopefully i was of some help
