PLEASE HELP ME OUT! lol
alright i have 2 questions. first off i have a 2006 V6 3.7L quad cab dakota, i have 121,000 miles on it.. is there anyone that knows maybe how much longer it will last or when things will start going wrong?? i just got it a couple months ago so i have no idea what kind of maintenance has been done of if things have been kept up to date.
also i was thinking about getting it lifted or getting a leveling kit for the front... is there different kinds of lifts or what? i just hate the nose down look and wanted to do something about it so if anyone could help out that would be cool!:cool: |
i don't know much about the 3.7s, but like any engine, maintenance is key. As for a lift, a leveling kit would definitely solve your nose down problem. I'd also recommend a body lift, cheap, relatively easy install. I did one on an 02 durango i used to have, its a cheap way to get the clearance you need for bigger tires, unless you plan on doing some serious wheeling, then you may want to look at suspension lifts, but expect to pay at least double vs the body lift and a much more challenging install. With a body lift you'll get 3", (this was enough for me to clear 33" tire) suspension lifts will get you 3" and up depending on how much you want to spend. hope thats helpful

theres a new lift kit for the dakota but i have yet to talk to anyone that has the kit.

Exactly, you should talk to someone that already has a lift kit...
