hey people I am new here to truck forums and well am experiencing an annoying problem currently. Ever since I got the truck I have been putting on my seat belt because the constant sound of it dinging annoys me. However just yesterday I put my seatbelt on and it still keeps dinging and the light still stays on in the dash....what could this be? How can I fix this annoying problem of mine???

 

Go under the seat and unhook it thats what i did in a company truck I drive sometimes.

 

Better yet if it is an '05, it should be programmable, and you should be able to shut it off that way. Just look in your manual it it should tell you how to do it. Thats how I did it with my '05 Jeep Cherokee.
