Default 04 ram hemi 4x4 design flaw

YES the new dodge trucks with the hemi has a bad air inlet design..How do I know well I've got one. The air inlet by the air filter is to low and to open great for air flow but good for water flow aswell! In 8 inches of water my truck could not make it through. The honda infront did! SAD. sucking in water from the water splashing up into inlet causing hydra-lock Cant squish water.!!!! Im telling this story because my wife went down a road with curb high water and truck stopped dead and I mean dead !! rod through oil pan dead! all earlier models have inner fenders which prevent water splash up not the o1-newer models CHECK FOR YOURSELFS. This of course not covered under warranty. Flooding not covered check warranty book guys Oh the big strong hemi 4x4 with 20" rims can't go through 8 inches of water no warrany clause. ITS A 4X4 not so smart engineers at chrysler who have never mad a mistake before can't admit to screwing up. So if you put a aftermarket intake on its even lower better chance of sucking in more water. We haven't had much rain so these problems might not be showing up or there not talking about it.
Any feedback appreciated!! THANKs for listening to my frustrations
