'06 5.7 Hemi Mega Cab 4x4 with vibration
 

I have16,500km (10,000m) on my '06 4x4 mega cab automatic. In the last fewmonths it has developed a serious vibration. The dealer is stumped. The tires have been balanced 4 times from different places. It will vibrate at 20km/ph or 75, or 100km, it has no preferences. It has the limited slip diff (Trac-Rite 10.50AA..useless piece of junk, another topic), which seems to be working as specified. Oil changed in it also. When the vibration starts the steering wheel is smooth but you can feel the whole body vibrating and at times shaking. Anyone else hear about this problem?

Haven't heard of anything, but have you made any modifications recently?

I had the same prob with one of my CARS. The stupid dealer (don't know how) put a dent in the driveshaft!!!!! It put it out of round. Check that.

Hi, I have the same problem with mine happends when i brake the truck juddders an shakes sometimes quite violently, again the dealer is stumped i have had brake rotors changed and hubs re - balanced as where slightly out still have problem. it is in dealers now as it has recall on Lower pinion Bush's this is apparently has coursed other to experiance shuddering. So hopefuly this is problem will keep you posted.

P.s Mines 2006 5.7 1500 Quadcab.
