Will someone tell me how to turn the ENG MAINT lite off on my 1086 ram?. It seemed to appear after 75,000 miles. I have checked all the emmision equipment that the book says, however, I understand that there's a wire that needs shorting out in order to reset the warning lite.

hmmm..i dont think my 84 has that light...i know its not what you want to hear, but i wouldnt worry about it.
perhaps pull the bulb out? i will try to check around to find out the exact answer for you...

 

Milspece6...........is your Ram a Ram 50, by Mitsubishi?? It sounds like thats what it is.......They have a maint. lite like you describe.....IF it is, I can help you........Larry
