I was thinking about trading in my 2003 Ford F250 4x4 crewcab for an 08Dodge 3/4 4x4 crew cab withCummings & auto trans. I heard the2008 trucks with all the polution filters don't get very good mileage.Can some folks who have them give me some actual hand calculated data.

I currently get 10 -11 around town and 15-16 on the highway.

you will get about the same with the new cummins, all the new diesels with the Diesel Particulate Filter get crappy gas mileage compared to the 00-07's. my boss has a 08 f250 and gets 9mpg. that is with exhaust and programmer..... i heard guys getting 11-16 with the cummins.
