99 RAM LEAF SPRINGS
 

[hr]I just put a flat bed on my 99 dodge ram 1/2 ton, and i was wondering if i can put 3/4 ton leaf springs on the rear for a little extra support, for light work. Is this possible with out a bunch of extra work. Will they interchange with each other. Thanks.

Knowing the weight of a flatbed .I hope your running a 10 ply tire.load range e. Swapping out leafs wont work the 3/4 are longer and have larger frame brackets but those could be swapped if youe getting the parts free and can weld sure...but there are cheaper eaiser ways to boost your load capacity.lift blocks bigger wider 10 ply tires .heavy duty shocks.
