I have a 96 with the 318 motor and the AC works fine until I start up a hill or there is any kind of torque on the motor. Once I'm going downhill or ease up on the gas, the AC starts blowing thru the vents again. Yesterday I noticed that cold air still comes out of the vent on the floor. I had another vehicle that did this but didn't own it for very long, so I never found out why the AC does this... Anybody???
