Any issues adding preformance peices on a 06 hemi equipped w/ MDS
 

I picked up a new 06 Ram 1500 quad cab a few weeks ago, I was wondering if anyone had any expierence yet with adding new headers, dual exhaust or an air intake if it would have any ill effects on the mds system. As well if it would effect your warranty any.

I don't have a hemi, but from what I have seen on other dodge truck forums, dyno results show a flowmaster single in/dual out gives a slight increase in torque, but also a slight loss of HP in the hemis. In the same thread in one instance, others stated that flowmaster took care of the problem. Just thougt I'd throw that in here as flow's are a popular choice for your hemi. Not sure if it affects MDS. According to a dodge tech at dodgetrucks.org, none of those SHOULD affect your warranty - as most state they will not anyway. I wouldn't trust the headers and warranty though.........every dealership is different.
