my 2001 ram has a visable crack on the soft part of the dash has any one used those cloth dashes you can order - i just joined yesterday and it say`s i am a junior member - but bein 60 years old - i don`t think so.. i guess it meant i was new on the site - some times i wish i was a junior .. life is just goin tooooo fast good to be on this site ..

You can get a dash repair kit online. My sister got one for her 01 pt cruiser and it looks fine. You don't need to have too much mechanical skills to fix it. Or of course you can go to some place like maaco and they will fix it for like $300

it's better to have the dash replaced, and there are several sites that sells dash repair kit online... if you want some reliable sites you can visit autopartsdeal dot com for more selections...

I replaced mine with this one. It is an overlay that is held down by silicone. The color was a perfect match. Around $125.00 better than the $400.00 dealer wanted for new one.

There are many online stores and you can also search through net and it will come with installation guides also...
