Exhaust System
 

Hey-
I am only 16 years old, and dont know all that much about exhaust systems. I want to get a Dodge Truck, and I want it to be loud!! I have a few questions taht I need answered first. Can someone explain to me the basics of a stock exhaust system? I want dual exhaust, and I have heard Cherry Bombs make it loud, Is that true, are they legal, do they sound good? If so what tpye of Cherry Bomb should i Get? Cause they have Vortex, PRo, Turbo, Elite, Extreme, and CAt backs and Glass Packs. What are Glass Packs?

yeah cherry bombs sound good, there cheap and they work, i have one,
a glasspack. glasspacks are flow thru that means you can look right thru them
and thay are packed with fiberglass and have no baffles wichmake them generally
louder my old man has a 96 dodge ram with a 5.2 and he is actually getting a
glasspack today, thrush mufflers are also good and a few bucks cheaper.

So If i want a loud sound, I should get two of those red Cherry Bomb Glasspacks? Are teh legal?

flowmasters and magnaflows are loud to it depends what your into as for legality
best thing is to check your state regualtions or ask the guy at the counter where
yor gonna buy it but yeah i recomend cherrybombs watch out with dual exhaust toh of it flows too good you will loose low endpower
