Does anybody out there use their Ram 1500 for heavy towing? (5.7 HEMI) I pull a 28 foot 5th wheel travel trailer weighing around 8500 pounds loaded. So far so good. I have not made any modifications to the truck so it is all stock OE. Any concerns or comments for ways to achieve more noticeable low end power, or negatives to pulling this weight would be appriciated.

 

neg. are bad for the tranny and strain on your motor, but that is on every truck that pulls anything.
